About the Game

ALBOR: Classic Dungeon Crawling

ALBOR is a turn-based roguelike dungeon crawler inspired by the TTRPG dungeon crawling experience. Explore an unforgiving tower, fight with strategic precision, and build unique parties on every run.

COMBAT

A turn-based combat system where synergies and risk management define victory.

• Elemental Affinities: Analyze your enemies and identify their elemental vulnerabilities (fire, ice, poison, etc.) to exploit them.

• Status Effects: Enhance your strategy with status effects. From burns, curses, and blessings to much more, leverage these effects to weaken your enemies or empower your allies.

• Skill Synergies: Some abilities only reach their full potential under certain conditions—choose skills that synergize with each other to build the best team possible.

Skill Duels

The DUEL is a mechanic that allows you to change the outcome of a battle. Select an ability to clash face-to-face with the enemy's: the winner executes their action, while the loser forfeits their turn.

• Every +1 Matters: In a Duel, precision is everything. Adding bonuses to your Duel Roll will be vital to tip the scales in your favor.

• Protect Your Allies: Shield your most fragile units by intercepting attacks, forcing Duels to cancel enemy actions, or redirecting incoming attacks.

Tower Events

The halls of the tower don't just harbor danger; other adventurers travel these places pursuing their own goals. Will you offer them your help, ignore them, or take advantage of their fate?

• D20 System: Resolve dilemmas, traps, and encounters using d20 rolls influenced by your party members' stats and proficiencies.

• Between-Floor Stories: Discover the secrets hidden within the tower through micro-stories and peculiar encounters between each floor.

New Adventurers Every Run

In ALBOR, no two expeditions are the same. Every hero evolves differently on each attempt.

• Dynamic Character Building: Find heroes across 8 distinct classes and 8 different races, each with unique stats and abilities.

• Wide Variety of Abilities: Build the perfect party tailored to your style with a pool of [X] abilities per class and [Y] abilities per race. The possibilities are nearly endless.

• Backgrounds and Interaction: Characters possess personality traits that grant bonuses to d20 social rolls during tower events.
