About the Game

Your Starring Role

You are Jamie Henry, a prodigious artist who made their name creating interactive movies at Valhalla Studio. Unfortunately, after the disappearance of founder and director Yorick Byrne, you’ve found yourself at an impasse. That’s where the groundbreaking AI Vs Artists competition comes into play.

Creativity’s Last Bastion

The tech mogul Scylla Corporation has proposed a contest; you and a team of humanity’s finest artists team up to compete against their most cutting-edge AI model, Karibdis, in an all-out, live streamed brawl to create the best interactive movie possible. This is your chance to show what it means to be an artist in an age where digital creation is more streamlined and accessible than ever before.

Day-to-day Strife

Over the course of the competition, you’ll help your team members work on their assigned tasks, represented as minigames related to their field. Work together with your team to pursue a common goal, or take over yourself if it seems like your team is struggling. The choice is ultimately yours as a leader to do what feels right.

An Uphill Battle

The human team is composed of artists from all walks of life, from writers, musicians, programmers, vocalists, editors, and more. As the team lead, it’s your job to rein in all of these… “unique” talents and produce a truly phenomenal art piece worthy of crushing your AI competitor. It won’t be easy, however, as not everyone is on the same page about what to create or how to go about it…

Artificial Intervention

As the human team lead, you’ll also have to contend with Karidbis itself as it tries to wear your morale down. Combined with the ever-present audience and Jamie’s own troubled past, you’ll have your work cut out for you if you want to stand a chance at winning this competition. Hang in there!
