About the Game

Several centuries have passed since the catastrophe. Humanity survived — but the world no longer belongs to it.

Cockroaches have become the most advanced civilization on Earth. Humans emerging from their bunkers centuries later are weakened, divided, and struggling to survive under a new order. They form small settlements around distribution centers, bringing salvaged devices from the Old World in exchange for the essentials: water, food, medicine, and energy.

You are a cockroach working at one of these distribution centers.

Every day, humans come to your window. Inspect the items they bring, test whether they still work, identify counterfeits, and measure radiation levels. Bargain with people and decide what their discoveries are really worth.

But the most important question isn't how much another artifact is worth.

It's how much a human life is worth.

Deny someone water, and desperate settlers may raid the warehouse tomorrow. Be too generous, and the government may notice the missing resources and send an inspector. Try to please everyone, and you'll quickly discover there simply isn't enough to go around.

Every decision affects the next day. Your actions shape the people's attitude toward you, the government's attention, and the situation within the settlement. A small cog in a vast machine may eventually gain the power to influence the fate of two civilizations.

But you have a life of your own.

You dream of opening a repair shop for Old World technology. Your brother depends on you. The government provides you with housing as long as you keep doing your job. And ahead of you are 30 days you need to survive.

The people are growing more desperate. The government is watching more closely.

The World of AfterRoach

AfterRoach is the first story set in a post-apocalyptic universe where humanity has lost its place at the top of the food chain. We plan to continue expanding this world and tell new stories about humans and cockroaches forced to coexist within the new order they've created.

Use of Generative AI

At the current stage of development, generative AI is being used to create some temporary visual assets. As development progresses, we are replacing them with original artwork created by our team. More than 30% of these assets have already been replaced.
