Aevum
About the Game
Aevum (noun) - from Latin: eternity, lifetime, age.
The temporal mode between time and eternity.
About the Game
Aevum is a short atmospheric 2D platforming experience that deals with atrophy, loss, and acceptance.
You begin your journey weightless and capable, able to traverse the world with ease. As time goes on, your strength diminishes and your abilities are lost. Familiar routes are now filled with challenging obstacles to conquer.
Through environmental storytelling and a strong focus on mood and sound, Aevum explores what it means to keep moving forward when strength fades, and how acceptance can be found at the end of a long struggle.
