Abyss: New Dawn – Roadmap Toward Version 1.0
I don't want to draw up a pretty roadmap and then fail to deliver on it.
So here's what I'm actually working on, until this game is everything it should be.
Phase 1 – Clean Up
Early Access means bugs. I know. You know. First things first - clear out whatever's getting in the way of just playing the game. Performance, stability, the moments that make you want to close the game and walk away. Crafting, inventory, progression - the things you touch every single day - will be revisited and improved.
Goal: Stop making you frustrated.
Phase 2 – Finish What I Started
I'm not planning to turn Abyss into an endless game with new content every month. I had a vision from the beginning — and 1.0 is when that vision gets fully realized, nothing more, nothing less.
Goal: When you finish the game, you feel something. Not emptiness.
Phase 3 – Listen
Not every piece of feedback is right. But there are things only you can see. UI that's hard to read. Mechanics that confuse. Small moments that break the flow. I'll fix those.
Goal: Respect the time of everyone who chose to stay.
