About the Game

Assemble a new team of Abomis every run from a random pool of 300+ different monsters to recruit, train, and evolve. Adapt your strategies as your party faces infinite combinations of foes in a turn-based battle system where positioning and type-based matchups will decide if your team has what it takes to save Abomi Nation.

Be careful to protect your Abomis! Losing all of your HP means that your teammates could permanently die, adding high stakes to every battle. If you're hoping for a more relaxing Abomi Nation experience, don't worry! Abomi Nation's customization options allow you to craft the kind of run that suits your needs. Whether you want permadeath turned off, or you like adding chaotic modifiers to crank the difficulty up, Abomi Nation: Monster Rifts prioritizes letting you play your way.

Plan your path across Abomi Nation's various torn-apart biomes, where you can find new Abomis to recruit, enemies to train against, and all sorts of random events to shape your run. After defeating the boss Abomi in each area, you can grow your home base by adding that piece of land back to the island. New NPCs, events, and shops will slowly start to repopulate Abomi Nation as your island regrows.

With so many Abomis, it would be difficult to memorize every stat, attack effect, or unique mechanic. This is why Abomi Nation: Monster Rifts will always detail what each move does and provide a damage breakdown so that you can know how each mechanic is impacting your strategy. With so much on the line, it's important that you're able to make the most informed decision possible!

Mysterious rifts have been opening up in the skies of Abomi Nation, tearing holes in space and time. Through these rifts, monsters from all sorts of indie game universes are pouring out into Abomi Nation!

Team up with crossover monsters from Bugsnax, Brotato, Cassette Beasts, Peglin, Bug Fables, Slap City, Monster Sanctuary, Coromon... and so many more! Dozens of universes are being pulled in by the rifts.

Using the in-game Abomi Nation Creation Station, players will be able to create custom Abomis, attacks, items, biomes, and types, then share their creations with others via Steam Workshop.

Simply upload your sprites, tweak some values like stats and typing, and congratulations! You've created an Abomi of your very own, no coding experience required.
