About the Game

A Stray Line is a point and click adventure game where you play as a young girl named Taoyi Feng.

Everything you know and love has fallen apart.

Then, as if to rub salt in the wound, the universe itself seems to have forgotten you.  

You wake up to discover that your home, your belongings, and even the surrounding woodlands have been changed beyond recognition. People no longer remember your face, or the misfortune you caused your loved ones. There are holes in the floor, but you can't see through them.

Perhaps something out there has granted you a clean slate. This time, you will make yourself worth forgiving. 

• Taoyi Feng: A child with all the love in the world to give. For the stars, the woodlands, and the people who took her in when she had nothing.

• Atlas Feng: A former big city painter and mage. Now, he lives quietly in a small house with his two adoptive children, hidden away in a forest clearing. He is recovering from some injuries.

• Winslow Feng: Tao's older sibling who enjoys teasing and playing with his friends. He is often in homemade costumes for his acting club.

• Ilya Svetlov (“Mr. Ilya”): Atlas' friend and gardener, driver, embroiderer, fisherman on call, etc. To Taoyi and Winslow, it really seems like he can do everything.

• The Tube: An unexpected neighbor.

• A story about found family, redemption, and artistry.

• Visual-novel segments with hand drawn cgs and animations.

• An autumnal, pixel art world to explore and solve puzzles in.

• Point and click drawing mechanics (works with both mouse and art tablets.)

• The experience of having a supportive father.

• An undiagnosed iron deficiency.

• Scrappy stray animals to help you along your adventure.

• Mildly strange art exhibits.

This game will be told through five chapters. The prologue and chapter one will be available for free in the upcoming demo!
