Far from earth, your only weapons are your work mechs, your only support your fellow miners. When tensions boil over, will you take a stand?

A Line Held Tight is a dynamic sci-fi visual novel that follows The Canary, a member of a mining colony on a far-off chunk of rock. Out there, cut off from the rest of humanity by a vast expanse of space, a maelstrom of tensions are rising. 

As a strike boils over you’ll help The Canary to decide where their heart and their loyalties lie. A branching narrative weaves its way through the deep tunnels of the mine to meet the characters within it as outside influences make themselves felt. Your choices will have outcomes small, large, and unpredictable. Will you choose to make a stand?

Welcome to the 32nd Century

The mine and its inhabitants are at the furthest reaches of humanity's spaceward expansion. Isolated and far from help, all you can rely on is each other.

Relationships hang in the balance

The different options that you choose will impact The Canary’s relationships with their friends, family and fellow workers. With emotions running high and divided opinions, you’ll need to decide who your people are.

When push comes to shove and conflict becomes inevitable the only weapons available to you are your rigs, gigantic work mechs designed for drilling and hauling rock, not for combat.
