A Hundred Light Years
About the Game
THE YEAR IS 2124. Earth is dying.
The machines have taken every job. Resources are gone. Billions have nothing left. Your family is among the last wave of settlers departing for the distant stars — bound for New Providence, a colony planet one hundred light years away.
Some ships find paradise. Others are never heard from again.
A HUNDRED LIGHT YEARS is a text-based survival game inspired by the classic Oregon Trail. Manage your resources, make impossible decisions, and keep your family alive across 100 light-years of deep space. Every run is different. Every choice leaves a mark.
CHOOSE YOUR CLASS
Four backgrounds shape your entire journey. The Engineer keeps the ship alive. The Merchant talks their way through anything. The Soldier fights when there is no other option. The Aristocrat has money — and enemies.
MANAGE YOUR RESOURCES
Fuel. Food. Medicine. Ship parts. Ammunition. Every day costs something. Every decision costs more. Running out of any one of them has consequences that compound.
FACE WHAT LIVES IN THE DARK
Deep space is not empty. Something vast and patient moves alongside your ship in the dark between stars. The further you travel, the harder it becomes to look at certain things directly.
SEVEN ENDINGS
From hopeful to horrifying. The ending you reach depends on every choice you made to get there — who you saved, who you left behind, and what you let yourself become.
