About the Game

A game about... Clicking? starts out as a seemingly simple, relaxing clicker about chipping away at a structure, gathering nuggets, and steadily investing in stronger mining tools. Soon enough, however, the repetitive strikes reveal themselves to be just a facade. Designated as Subject 12, you are pulled into a cold, clinical experiment known as Glowfall, where routine memory wipes and synthetic sensory stimulation are standard operating procedure. Yet the deeper layers begin to expose data fragments that the Institute failed to purge. The only question is: will you settle for being an obedient ob... candidate, or will you risk everything to uncover who is truly trying to reach out to you?

Disclaimer:
I wanted to experience the process of creating a game completely from scratch, and to every solo developer and small indie team out there... I have nothing but absolute admiration for how much time everything truly takes. Every single mechanic needs to be carefully designed, graphics and audio polished, alongside hundreds of other subtle details. This project gave me a whole new appreciation for indie games, and I want to thank all of you for creating such wonderful things.

If you end up enjoying the game, I will be deeply grateful for the time you spend playing it. It is certainly not a top-tier masterpiece, but I truly hope you won't regret the moments spent with it. And if it's not your cup of tea... simply make use of the refund option. I’ll still be glad that you at least took a look at it :P

Future of the project:

Moving forward, I think the narrative elements will take a back seat. I would love to introduce structures in various shapes with distinct properties, transition away from the static skill tree in favor of choosing perks/skills (earning an item with each level-up instead of buying upgrades with nuggets), and of course add some "gambling" mechanics where you can roll for unique backgrounds and cursor themes that come with their own special effects.
