About the Game

It lives on your taskbar

The game opens as a thin strip above your taskbar and stays there while you use the computer. If you want more room, it becomes a wallpaper and fills the whole screen, behind your icons.

He fishes on his own

You don't have to do anything. The fish bites when it feels like it and the fisherman reels the line in. If you happen to be watching when it bites, one click makes the catch better. If you're not, the fish goes into the hold anyway.

From the Araguaia to the open sea

You start on the Araguaia, white beach and shallow water. Then come the Rio Negro, the flooded forest of Furnas, the coast of Santa Catarina and the sea off Fernando de Noronha, where whatever bites is usually bigger than your boat.

From canoe to ocean boat

Sooner or later the hold fills up before the day is over. So you sell the fish and change boats: dinghy, speedboat, trawler, up to the ocean boat that makes the canoe look like a toy. Better bait brings better fish.

Rain, nightfall, thunder

The weather changes by itself. Rain arrives slowly, a storm rocks the boat and cracks the sky, and on some nights the moon turns red. Each kind of weather brings a different fish.

Wildlife passing by

A caiman with its eye on the hook. A giant otter that only takes the fat ones. A river dolphin pushing the shoal your way. A jaguar lying on the sand. They show up when they feel like it.

A hat delivered by stork

Every now and then a stork crosses the screen carrying a parcel. Click it before it passes and the hat is yours. You can put it on the fisherman or sell it on the Steam Community Market. Each one comes tattered, used or new.

A championship every month

Every fish you catch scores points on a monthly leaderboard. Whoever ends the month on top gets a celestial hat, one that no stork delivers and nowhere sells.

What it doesn't do

No ads, no energy bar, no notification asking you to come back. And nothing you play leaves your computer.
