3876 AD: Corruption
About the Game
At the very end of the 37th century the stories of our old world have long since been forgotten. Earth, scarred by endless wars, had plunged into chaos. The corrupting influence of Modification Drones, nano-bots combat enhancements, has polluted the planet. Prepare for a hardcore military sci-fi survival roguelike, a game full of quests, deep lore, resource management, and tactical combat.

The world is now a hostile battlefield where advanced technology exists alongside archaic systems. Only the Earth Military is able to push back the creeping infestation of cyber-mutants and primordial monstrosities that now inhabit this world. Somewhere in this legend, the war veteran Kuno Lee'Larson finds himself crash-landed on Earth. In the first scenario of many more to come, Commander Larson must fight to protect the eastern region of the Brianna Wilderness and, with the help of his allies, eventually uncover the secrets of this recent mutant outbreak.
Combat is tactical and tense; the hostile mutants are tough adversaries that require sound strategy. Manage your equipment and use your mod-drone abilities to gain an edge. Your goal is straightforward: destroy the enemy bases, secure the region, and stay alive in this harsh test of survival. Use powerful artillery strikes to suppress the enemy forces and postpone an assault on allied infrastructure for as long as possible. But when the assault happens, be prepared for a fierce battle to regain relative control over the region.

You operate in a world where every resource counts. Mine or scavenge at scattered sites, haul ore with rented trucks, and convert raw materials into supplies to fuel your artillery strikes. When the artillery stops, the danger will increase, and enemies will be at your doorstep before you know it! Buy food and other consumables from vendors by providing more supplies, and keep a balance between how much you produce and how much you spend.

When the artillery stops the danger will increase and the enemies will be at your doorstep before you know it! Buy food and other consumables from vendors by providing more supplies and keep a balance for how much you produce and how much you spend.

In the first scenario, you will have access to a well-supplied military outpost, housing one of many vendors that will make surviving in these unforgiving lands even possible. This outpost serves as your main hub for resupply, upgrades, and planning your next move, providing a crucial foothold in the harsh environment.
Vendors offer food and other consumables that can be essential for your survival. You can trade supplies to buy what you need, but keep in mind that you cannot carry everything with you at once. Managing your supplies wisely is crucial to staying prepared for each encounter. Make strategic decisions about what to buy and when to save your resources for future events, as every choice can impact your chances of survival in this unforgiving world.

As you survive, fight enemies, and complete missions, you earn experience points that can be spent to increase your abilities, making you more resilient and effective in the ongoing battle. When you're not fighting, you can rest in your makeshift camp to recover wounds, cook food, and spend your XP. Heal your wounds and soothe your fatigue by combining items with the campfire to make foods edible or change their properties.
Looting is a key part of survival, and exploring the environment can yield valuable intel that helps you identify and destroy enemy bases more efficiently. You might also find new weapons or armor upgrades that boost your combat effectiveness and make exploration more exciting. While the current scenario offers a limited amount of randomization, future scenarios could feature a much more extensive and ever-evolving procedural generation system, creating a dynamic world that changes around you and keeps each playthrough fresh and unpredictable.
The engine is designed with moddability in mind. I fully support user generated content and I have already created flexible data structures that allow easy manipulation for adding new scenarios, quests, and content. Although this is still in the very early stages, the goal is to make the game highly customizable, enabling players and modders to shape their own experiences within the 3876 AD universe.

With an active modding community, the possibilities are almost endless. You could add new stories, unique challenges, custom maps, and even entirely new factions or gameplay mechanics. I think letting people create and share their own content will keep 3876 AD fresh, evolving, and unique for everyone who plays it.
