THE TASK IS SIMPLE.

Separate lentils from ash. There are 1,000,000 items to sort. Good luck.

1,000,000 Lentils & Ashes is a minimalist first-person game about doing one very simple thing far too many times. You are in an industrial room with a vast pile and two sorting pits.

PICK IT UP. CHECK IT. PUT IT AWAY.

Lentils with lentils. Ash with ash. Every correctly sorted item adds one to the counter. You already know the instructions. Only the work remains.

PROGRESS EXISTS.

The counter rises. The pile shrinks. After the first item, only 999,999 remain. That is less than when you started.

BREAKS ARE ALLOWED.

Your progress is saved locally, so you can come back later. The pile has no other plans.
